Gocator Snapshot 3500 SERIES

High-Resolution Smart 3D Snapshot Sensors

Gocator 3D snapshot sensors use blue-LED structured light along with built-in 3D measurement tools. This combination allows for high-precision area scanning and inspection. Unlike lasers, which are used to scan moving objects, snapshot sensors take a single scan to inspect stationary objects or those with start/stop motion.

Easy Robot Integration

These sensors are ideal for inline applications where objects are briefly stationary, such as flexible robotic inspection or pick-and-place tasks. As a result, snapshot sensors help reduce the cost of expensive motion system parts and decrease errors caused by vibrations.

Stereo Camera Design

Stereo cameras capture more data, which reduces the chance of occlusions. On the other hand, a single camera might lose data if something blocks the light or the camera’s view. However, stereo cameras overcome this by taking three views of the part, allowing them to gather more information.

Built-in Hardware Acceleration

In addition to their powerful scanning engines, every Gocator 3D snapshot sensor has next-generation dual-core controllers. This speeds up processing, ensuring the sensors can keep up with inline production speeds.

Rugged Industrial Design

Thanks to their rugged housing, small size, and light weight, these sensors fit easily into tight spaces or can be mounted on robots. Moreover, Gocator snapshot sensors are IP67-rated, and their industrial projectors can last up to 10 years of continuous operation.
