Nowadays, static balancing systems increasingly represent an alternative to rotating solutions. Furthermore, their accuracy is now so high that many applications can be balanced more efficiently than with rotating machines.
This extended field of application is primarily due to the new, unique measuring principle. As a result, this measuring procedure has considerably improved the efficiency of our static balancing systems, while also leading to an expansion of the typical range of use. Consequently, unbalance and weight of simple, disc-shaped rotors can now be determined both quickly and precisely. Depending on the required balancing quality, these systems offer a considerable cost-saving potential.
For instance, among its typical applications are railway wheels, propellers, grinding wheels, pump impellers, and brake discs. In particular, static unbalance can be determined with high precision for all rotors that have a disc-shaped geometry.
