Imbalance is probably the most common cause of vibration and vibration-related problems in industry. Unbalance occurs when weight distribution (moment of inertia centrum) on the rotating mass does not harmonize with the mechanical center of rotation.
Most rotors are usually balanced separately when they are manufactured. In many cases this is not enough when they are then put into their real application, which may be more sensitive or where several rotating objects are interconnected and interact.
MLT has the equipment and experience to balance most things on site in your facility. We carry out this type of assignment daily with very good results and have many satisfied and returning customers.
We field balance against accepted industry standards, for example ISO 21940 or other tolerances prefered.
