Mobius VA ISO CAT II training

Mobius VA ISO CAT II training

This training is specifically aimed at vibration analysis specialists who want to further deepen their knowledge. To begin with, the course provides a solid foundation, ensuring that participants fully grasp key concepts. Moreover, it helps them not only to better understand vibration analysis but also to utilize its full potential in real-world applications. In the long run, this knowledge leads to improved decision-making and problem-solving. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance the reliability and operational safety of machines, which, in turn, reduces downtime and maintenance costs.

Additionally, MLT is authorized to hold Mobius Institute’s own training courses and conduct examinations. As a result, participants gain access to high-quality instruction that meets industry standards. More importantly, upon successful completion, you can receive the official VA ISO CAT II certificate according to standard 18436-2. Not only that, but the certification is also internationally recognized, thus significantly strengthening your competence in vibration analysis and boosting your professional credibility.

Course content:

  • How a well-thought-out maintenance program and approach improves OEE and your final result.
  • Condition monitoring techniques: acoustic emission, infrared analysis (thermography), oil and wear particle analysis, and engine testing.
  • Equipment knowledge – how machines work. How to choose the right measurement location and axis and collect good, repeatable measurements.
  • About Fmax, resolution, average and other analyzer settings and optimal settings for different machine types.
  • Analysis of vibration spectra, time waveforms, envelope (demodulation) and phase measurements.
  • How to diagnose: unbalance, eccentricity, misalignment, bent shaft, stressed bearing, looseness, rolling bearing failure, shaft bearing failure, gearbox failure and resonance.
  • How to set alarm limits manually and with statistics.
  • How to balance and align a machine and correct a resonance condition.
