FARO Orbis Mobile Laser Scanner and Orbis Premium are advanced mobile laser scanning solutions designed to streamline workflows and increase productivity. By combining mobile scanning with stationary scans through Flash Technology™, users can capture both fast and highly detailed 3D data within a single system. Stationary scans can be completed in approximately 15 seconds and are integrated directly into the point cloud, delivering high data quality and accuracy.

Proven SLAM Technology

The systems are powered by a proven SLAM algorithm from GeoSLAM, enabling fast and reliable data capture even in complex and demanding environments. The result is true-to-reality 3D visualizations that can be used for analysis, planning, and documentation.

Orbis Premium takes performance even further with a powerful 72 MP camera and robust IP54 protection rating, making it ideal for work in harsh environments. The high-resolution image quality enables colorized point clouds with a high level of detail.

Thanks to mobile scanning, data can be captured up to ten times faster than with traditional methods. In addition, easy operation and cloud connectivity to FARO Sphere XG make it possible to work more flexibly, share data in real time, and make faster decisions.
