Since 1988, MLT Maskin & Laserteknik AB has been delivering market-leading systems, products, and expert services in measurement technology. With a strong focus on quality, precision, and close customer collaboration, we have, over the years, built a unique position in the market. Today, we proudly have a presence in four countries and a dedicated team of 50 employees, who are always ready to assist our customers – anytime, anywhere.
Moreover, we are proud to represent some of the world’s most innovative manufacturers, including PRUFTECHNIK, pioneers in laser-based shaft alignment, and Creaform 3D, pioneers in handheld 3D scanners. About us and our history
1988
MLT was founded in Karlstad with a vision to deliver market-leading laseralignment technology.
1997
The company was acquired by Protoma AB and relocated to Gothenburg, marking the start of a new expansion journey.
2002
We delivered our first major online vibration monitoring system to one of Sweden’s largest heating plants.
2004
Introduction of Paralign – a groundbreaking method for roll parallelism measurement, quickly becoming a favorite among our customers in the pulp, paper, and steel industries.
2008
MLT expanded its offerings by representing SCHENCK-RoTec, specialists in balancing machines for all types of rotors.
2011
Launch of our 3D Scanning and Geometric Measurement business area, supported by innovative solutions from Creaform.
2012
The subsidiary MLT Oy was established in Finland, marking our first successful international expansion.
2015
The launch of the Process Metrology business area, where we combine laser measurement technology with vision technology from LMI3D to create unique applications.
2017
The subsidiary MLT AS was founded in Norway, strengthening our presence and position in the Nordic region.
2018
We introduced the revolutionary IRIS-M with Motion Amplification technology from RDI – a groundbreaking method for vibration analysis and troubleshooting.
2019
MLT won one of Sweden’s largest public tenders in Condition Monitoring, resulting in a groundbreaking project for Stockholm’s heating and cooling plants.
2021
We celebrated 10 years as a strategic partner with Creaform and launched new solutions in automated measurement with the SmartStation program from 3D-Infotech.
2023
Christoffer Eriksson steps aside as CEO in MLT AB in Sweden and a new management takes place in MLT. Henrik Hasselgren as new CEO of the Swedish business, Hans Saele takes the position for the Norwegian business and Eetu Siitunen for the Finnish business.
2024
MLT instruduces the wireless sensors Long Range vibration sensors from pureSignal. Introduction on the Nordic markets with great market reception. Get order from one the largest powerplants in Scandinavia.
