Introductory course in Rotalign Ultra

This course is a basic introduction to shaft alignment using the Rotaling Ultra instrument. The training includes both theoretical and practical elements and requires no prior knowledge.

The course provides a basic introduction to shaft alignment and requires no prior knowledge. We first go through the theory of why you measure, what affects the machines and what different methods are available for measuring. Then we practice in our laboratory until everyone can handle the instrument in the best and fastest way.

After the course, participants will:

Have a basic understanding of shaft alignment.
Perform a horizontal machine alignment.
Handle alignment with short and long coupling (spacer).
Perform a soft foot check.
Handle the Laser instrument and its basic functions.
Be aware of thermal growth and coupling targets.
Be aware of the tolerance table for coupling values.
