This advanced course in Rotalign is for those with experience in laser alignment. It includes a brief theory review, hands-on use of advanced functions, and practical alignment exercises in an industrial setting.

This Advanced course in Rotalign is for those who have completed step 1 – introductory course or otherwise have experience of aligning machines with laser instruments. The course begins with a short review of the theory behind shaft alignment. We then go through more advanced functions in the laser instruments. In the practical part we perform alignments in a smooth manner and demonstrate a number of real life measurements that we analyze together. In our laboratory, we have the opportunity to perform all important shaft alignments that occur in an industrial environment.

After the course, participants will:

Have knowledge and confidence in using advanced functions in the current laser instrument.
Perform an alignment of a horizontal and a vertical machine.
Perform alignment with uncoupled axes and cardan shafts.
Handle the Laser Instrument and its most advanced functions.
Store, save and document measurement results in reports.
Perform alignments with thermal growth and coupling targets.
Knowledge of procedures for aligning machine trains.
