This comprehensive course in the field of shaft alignment is for everyone, regardless of previous experience in the field. We begin with the theory behind shaft alignment, where we go through why you measure, what affects the machines and different measurement methods. Then the practical part begins where we go through all the functions of the laser instruments, teach you how to smoothly perform alignments with the current instrument and show a number of actual measurements that we analyze together. We practice until all participants have completed approved alignments.

After the course, participants will:

• Handle the Laser instrument and its basic functions.
• Have comprehensive knowledge and confidence in using the advanced functions of current laser instruments.
• Get a good theoretical understanding of the subject of shaft alignment.
• Perform an alignment of horizontal machines and vertical machines.
• Handle alignment with short and long coupling (spacer).
• Perform a soft foot check.
• Store, save and document measurement results in reports.
• Perform alignments with thermal growth and coupling targets.
