You’ll dive into advanced signal processing, time-domain analysis, phase analysis, cross-channel measurements, machine dynamics, and effective fault correction methods. Advanced Vibration Analysis – From Diagnostics to Certification

Master the skills to diagnose all common machine faults, whether in rolling or plain bearings. You’ll work with spectra, high-frequency detection techniques, time waveforms, phase measurements, and other advanced methods to ensure accurate fault identification.

Deepen your understanding of machine dynamics, including natural frequencies, resonance, and how to perform and interpret resonance tests. You’ll also learn to identify and solve resonance issues, and make the most of both single- and cross-channel measurements with your analysis equipment.

By completing the Category III training, you’ll be equipped to establish and lead a successful vibration program, while mentoring junior analysts.

Upon finishing the course, you’ll be fully prepared to take the ISO 18436-2, Category III exam and earn certification through the internationally recognized Mobius Institute Board of Certification (MIBoC)™. Accredited under ISO/IEC 17024, the highest standard available, you’ll join a global network of thousands of Mobius™-certified vibration analysts.

Previous knowledge: To attend the cours you need at least 24 months of experience of vibration analysis. Certification requires a minimum of 36 months of experience in vibration measurement and analysis. In addition, you must have successfully completed and passed the VA ISO Category II certification.
